Soil and Water Conservation Districts manage and direct local conservation programs. These programs are focused on assisting landowners with implementing voluntary conservation practices to protect the health of lakes, rivers and other natural resources. A board consisting of five supervisors are elected to three-year terms in public elections. Supervisors volunteer their time, energy, and expertise to help improve the well-being of the community. If you, or someone you know, is conservation minded and wants to help protect our natural resources in Paulding County, please reach out to the SWCD office at 419-399-4771, for more information.
