Lower Auglaize Watershed Program
Paulding SWCD received a watershed grant from the Ohio Department of Agriculture to focus on improving water quality in the watersheds of the Lower Auglaize River, which is home to much of Paulding County’s population.
This program is a construction type project cost share program that provides cost share funding to install the following practices in addition to maintain them for their useful life period.

Drainage Water Management Box with submain, Installed (per structure) | $3,750.00 |
Blind Inlet (per structure) | $2,300.00 |
Filter strip (per acre) *2 years of establishment/maintenance | 290.00 |
Grassed Waterways (per acre) | $7,500.00 |
Our efforts are focused in the following watersheds that drain to the Auglaize River:
- Blue Creek
- Middle Creek
- Prairie Creek
- Flatrock Creek
- Little Flatrock Creek
- Wildcat Creek

Enrollment
The enrollment period for this program is July 29th, 2020 – September 21, 2020 or when enrollment caps are met. Enrollment may be opened up for a second round is funding is avaiable.
