Friends of the Black Swamp Nature Center Fund
The Friends of the Black Swamp Nature Center was created, in collaboration with the Paulding County Area Foundation, the Friends of the Black Swamp Nature Center to support the financial needs, growth, and improvements of the Black Swamp Nature Center. Funds generated also support education and environmental stewardship projects that enhance public use and enjoyment of the nature preserve. All of these projects work to support conservation and preservation of natural spaces for current and future generations. If you haven’t visited, we invite you to do so!
This 51 Acre preserve rests along the Flat Rock Creek and has a multitude of nature trails winding throughout. There is plenty of paved parking, a picnic area and a Nature Center building that is used for programming and rentals.
If there is something you would like to see happen at the preserve or a project that you feel passionate about, we encourage you donate to make that project a reality. Your financial donation is tax deductible. Volunteers of time and talent are also welcome! If you have questions or would like to donate, we encourage you to reach out to Paulding SWCD at Paulding@pauldingswcd.org or by phone at 419-399-4771 or to the Paulding County Area Foundation at 419-399-8296
