Paulding SWCD Ditch Maintenance

We are keeping an eye out for the following vegetation: 
Cattails, Sedges, Reeds, Willows, Poison Hemlock, Purpleloostrife, Phragmites, Autumn-Olive, Mulberry, Black Locust


Ditch Maintenance 2016 by the Numbers:

  • 79,000 feet (15 miles) of Bottom Cleanout
  • 74,000 feet (14 miles) of Spoil Dirt leveled
  • 60 Dump Truck loads of Spoil Drit hauled
  • 350 tons of Quarried Rock hauled (no including hard fill hauled)
  • 15 erosion sites repaired
  • 12 control structure repairs (includes survey/excavation, installation, & hauling)
