Paulding SWCD Ditch Maintenance


 

 The Paulding County Commissioners, Paulding SWCD, and the Paulding County Engineer are under a cooperative working agreement for the Paulding County Ditch Maintenance program with the Paulding Soil & Water Conservation District. If you have any questions regarding maintenance ditches, please contact the SWCD Office.

We are keeping an eye out for the following vegetation: 
Cattails, Sedges, Reeds, Willows, Poison Hemlock, Purpleloostrife, Phragmites, Autumn-Olive, Mulberry, Black Locust


Ditch Maintenance 2018 by the Numbers:

  • 51,140 feet (9.7 miles) of Bottom Cleanout
  • 30,500 feet (5.75 miles) of Spoil Dirt leveled
  • 70-80 loads of CHF hauled and installed at no additional cost to Ditch Maintenance
  •  erosion site repair on Blue Creek and Marie-Delarme Creek
  • control structure repairs (includes survey/excavation, installation, & hauling)
